CAT 2023: Why it is important.

A CAT 2023 score is a prerequisite for admission into various postgraduate and doctoral programs at IIMs. Listed institutions that are not IIM members are allowed to use CAT 2023 scores. The CAT website provides a list of such institutions. The IIMs are not involved in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.

Eligibility:
According to the CAT Eligibility, candidates must be graduates from a recognized university or have an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resources Development in India.

A minimum of 50% is required for candidates in the general category and NC-OBC category. In the case of reserved categories, it is 45%. Check out the CAT 2023 notification as well.

For candidates who receive grades or CGPA, the university/institute’s CAT Exam Eligibility process will be used for converting these grades or CGPA. Candidates in their final year or awaiting results are also eligible to apply following the CAT Eligibility guidelines.

Application Fee:
₹1200 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories.
₹2400 for candidates from all other categories.
Please note that candidates are required to pay the registration fee only once, regardless of the number of institutes they apply to. Once paid, the fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

How to Apply: To apply for CAT, eligible candidates can submit their applications online at https://iimcat.ac.in/.

CAT will be conducted in numerous test centers located across approximately 155 test cities. Candidates will have the flexibility to choose any six test cities in their preferred order of preference

MA, PG Diploma, and Certificate Course Admission Notice for 2023-24

Government College of Yoga Education and Health, Chandigarh are accepting online applications for admission to the following programs:

How to Apply: The candidate should log in to the admission portal using their password for all future visits. To proceed with the application, a registration fee of Rs. 70/- must be paid online. Please make a note of the generated transaction number. The applicant is required to fill in various details in the designated columns. It is mandatory for the applicant to provide a valid email ID, and optional to provide the email IDs of the parents. Additionally, the applicant must provide their WhatsApp mobile number and the telephone number/mobile number of the parents. An acknowledgment of the submitted online form will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number via SMS.

The required documents include:

  • Matriculation Certificate for Date of Birth.
  • 10+2 Detailed Marks Certificate.
  • University/Board DMC (Detailed Marks Certificate) of the lower examination.
  • Character Certificate from the institution last attended or from a Gazetted Officer (for private candidates). You can find a specimen of the form at the end of the Prospectus.
  • Migration Certificate/Inter-University Migration Certificate.
  • Certificates for categories such as Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Challenged Persons/Sports/Defence/Freedom Fighter’s Ward/Kashmiri Displaced Person’s Ward/Descendants of Kargil Martyrs/Single Girl Child/One out of only Two Girl Children/Cancer/AIDS/Thalassemia Patients/Border Area/Rural Area/Excelled in Youth Festival.
  • Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Chandigarh Sports Department for both U.T Pool and General Pool applicants.
  • Equivalence Certificate from Panjab University for the last course passed by the applicant (where required).

Ch. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (DA) category) from a recognized university or Institution. Candidates who are in final year of their graduation can also apply and submit their provisional certificate and mark sheets/grade card indicating up to date and latest cumulative marks/CGPA/OGPA till the previous year/semester and also indicate the same in the application form. Their provisional eligibility will be decided based on the same. If selected, they may seek provisional admission into the programme on payment of the required fee and other charges as specified. After joining the programme, they will have to submit the provisional degree certificate and aggregate marks/CGPA/OGPA latest by August 31, 2023 failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.

Selection Process

Candidates can apply online by visiting – www.ccsniam.gov.in. Shortlisting will be on the basis of the cumulative performance of CAT / XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ GMAT / CMAT score, and academic achievements are considered during the selection process. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for Group Discussion and Personal interview. Selected candidates will be intimated by email. Candidates are encouraged to apply early as there are limited seats.

Dramatic Arts Three Year Diploma 2023-2026, National School of Drama

National School of drama, invites applications for admission to Three Year Diploma in Dramatics for the academic year 2023-2026. The course starts from September 2023 and aims at training students to become professionals in the area of Acting, Design, Direction and other theatre related disciplines.

Qualification:
1) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad.
